Renaissance Lighting Inspired by scientific work at SAIC, Renaissance Lighting was launched in 2001 to commercialize a unique optical design which enables beautiful and energy efficient lights for general illumination. Using solid state light sources and Constructive Occlusion technology, Renaissance Lighting's products create an even light pattern over large surface areas with complete color control.
Renaissance Lighting was acquired by Acuity Brands Lighting in July 2010.
